The Last Lecture
Wow! An amazing and extremely motivating speech.
You would think that reflecting and commenting on such a great speech would be easy, but I’m finding it difficult to put my reactions into words.
I have such respect and admiration for a person who can think so selflessly during a time that he has every right to be selfish.
If nothing else, his words have resonated a sense of reflection on how I am currently living my life: am I prioritizing the truly important things, am I having fun, am I making daily memories with my family, and am I living my life in such a way that when it is my time to go, I will have no regrets?
Our time is short. We get one chance to get it right, so for me…I’m going to live the best way I know how! Each day has challenges, but thank God for the opportunity to have challenges. I hope that I can always try to find the good in people and situations that arise in my life.
